Ally turns 30 tomorrow. Zach’s on the sofa. Ally misses the past. Zach’s scared of the future.
‘We aren’t normal Zach. We can’t be. So why are we trying to be?’
Can two men in modern-day London maintain a lasting, monogamous relationship? As Zach’s internalised homophobia finally erupts on the eve of Ally’s 30th birthday, the couple find their relationship tested to the limit, forcing them into a conversation - five years in the making - to finally confront their future.
This tragi-comic play follows Ally and Zach over an hour in real time - a punchy non-stop exchange with no scene breaks, no time jumps and no other characters.
A Partnership is a tribute to the importance of honesty in any relationship, and asks whether love is truly enough. A five-star LGBT play fresh off a successful Fringe run and recently longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize 2019.
Tickets: £13.00 (concs/members £11.00)
