October Falls

October is quite often that "month in-between" ! It's that transition from the last of those warm summer evenings to the colder, darker November evenings. But we survived it, and we are now looking forward to what November will bring!

 

So here are a few dates for your November diary.

Christmas Light Switch On 22nd Nov

This year we are joining Whitehill Town Council at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for the Christmas Light Switch on by our Town Mayor, Cllr James Fryer!


The activities will commence at 4pm. The program includes Children's Crafting, Market Stalls, and a visit from Santa. Reservations for the Santas Grotto will open on Monday, November 11th.


Dead Water Valley Trust is offering to take care of your dinner preparations that evening! Sausage and burger baps will be available for purchase, relieving you of the need to cook. Furthermore, the Church will be serving Hot Chocolate, Mulled Wine, and Mince Pies.


 



Christmas at Hogmoor 30th Nov


A fun filled day is planned at Hogmoor!!


Santas Grotto opens at 1pm. Booking is essential. Reservation opens on November 15th.


Join in with the Children's crafting, Get your Christmas shopping done locally and sample some great food from The Great Big Pig and Crepe Britain. Plus of course the best coffee in town from Bean and Gone at Cafe Hogmoor.

We can't sign off without mentioning 2 amazing events in October.

Trackfest

Sunday 6th October we joined forces with Whitehill Town Council and held the first event at the Pump Track in Jubilee Park!

Wow!! What and "awesome" day!! We will let the pics do the talking!

Thankyou to Camp Rubicon for organising the day. We look forward to next years event on September 7th 2025.



 

Beacon of Peace - Charity walk 19th October 2025

On October 19th we joined 23 local charities on the annual walk. Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust were delighted to be a part of the organisation for the 3rd year running.

It is a privilege to work with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association’s (AMEA UK) .

Last year locally, AMEA UK fundraised £20,000 for more than 20 local charities. This year, at their national walk which was held in Farnham, more than £200,000 was raised for various British charities.
