Well it certainly felt like there was a feel of Spring in the air this weekend. Although the temperatures were in the minus and the mornings felt a bit crisp I think we all enjoyed that sunshine.
It was also the perfect time for us to enjoy getting together over the weekend!
FRUIT TREES FOR GU35 GARDENS
We all aim to contribute more to our planet, and by simply planting trees, you're making a positive impact. Cultivating your own food reduces the need for transporting goods and also attracts more wildlife, bugs, and insects to our gardens!
We had the pleasure of donating 50 apple and fruit trees to local residents in the GU35 area on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Thanks to the funding from local District Councilors, we have been able to provide free fruit trees to local residents for the second consecutive year.

This project has been highly popular, and we will be conducting it again in 2026, so stay tuned for further updates.
All the trees were provided by our local growers at Blackmoor Nursery.

PLOGGING Sunday 2nd March!
What's that we heard many of you say!! So here is the definition by Wikipedia.
Plogging is a combination of jogging with picking up litter, merging the Swedish verbs plocka upp (pick up) and jogga (jog) gives the new Swedish verb plogga, from which the word plogging derives.[1] It started as an organized activity in Sweden around 2016 and spread to other countries in 2018, following increased concern about plastic pollution. As a workout, it provides variation in body movements by adding bending, squatting and stretching to the main action of running, hiking, or walking. An estimated 2,000,000 people plog daily in 100 countries and some plogging events have attracted over 3,000,000 participants.
So there you have it- the official definition!!
And below the results !!
