Sunday 12th May proved to be the hottest day of the 2024 so far but it didn't deter the families that had signed up for our Spring into Health Challenge!!
Despite the unusual weather over 40 people turned up to take on the 2km run and 4km bike ride through Hogmoor Inclosure.
Marshalls and cheerleaders were on route with plenty of water and the smiles kept
coming.
Once the 2km run was over and extra water taken on it was time to get the helmets on and get on the bikes to complete the 2 circuits to complete the 4km bike ride!
Now during the event we gained an extra contestant! Ken, the Deadwater Valley Bear thought it would be a great idea to hitch a lift, but he had forgotten his bike.
No problems members of Y+ were there to help him on his way!
I think it's fair to say we all had a fabulous but hot day!
So all that remains to be said is a
BIG THANK YOU
to all that took part and to all the volunteers and organisations that made the event a day to remember!
1st Blackmoor, Bordon and Whitehill Scout group for a fabulous BBQ!
TriSigns for laying the route in the morning!
Y+ for the "not needed" warm up and tail running!
Cyclesphere donation of vouchers towards bike servicing.
